Meet Rachael.
Through storytelling and her natural comedic talents, Rachael gives small business advice to entrepreneurs looking to create a meaningful, online presence.
We had a chance to talk to Rachael and learn a bit more about her life as a creator.
Tell us a bit more about your channel.
Think of me as the one woman SNL of business comedy! I use sketch comedy to explore building an epic, unforgettable business online.
Why did you become a creator?
I wanted to be able to EMBODY the business lessons I was sharing vs. just talking ABOUT them. My show is also how I bring art into my business and employ myself as a “working actor.” Tell my dad I’m finally a real artist!
Where do you get inspiration for your videos?
Any time I find myself getting really MAD about something I see happening in the business and marketing space, I know I have a great new video idea.
Who are some of your favorite YouTube creators?
Holly Gillen, Desiree Martinez
What one piece advice would you give to your fellow creators?
I don’t consider myself a YouTube creator. I’m an artist, a creator, an educator – period. I think when folks get too hung up on the YouTube algorithm or what YouTube “wants” them to create or will reward them for creating, this can be incredibly discouraging and affect the work product. Focus on the content itself; YouTube might not be here in 20 years. Your ideas, your content, your art are what matters. Not what the almighty YouTube algorithm dictates.
